The RSS feeds are powered by the magpierss library. Cron only generates RSS data for exported feeds form your site.Sometimes they change the of the feed – you can go to the website and look for the new one. Here are some tips on adding feeds to your feedly or discovering them on the site: https://feedly.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/187494-how-to-add-news-feeds-to-your-feedly Sometimes when you see you have the correct and that the site produces new content, they might have blocked us – in this case, please let us know either through Twitter: https://twitter.com/feedly or the Open Community: https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/113648582731838175643 Thank you.I first noticed the problem about a day after the feed had been initialized. If your button does search, the title should be unique to all your search custom button title, as it also functions as that button name in the Google Toolbar search box.I put an RSS feed on a course page, and near as I can tell, it never updates on its own. I've tentatively traced it down to the rsscache files. I put a few RSS feeds on my main Moodle page and they are not being updated. When I went looking, I noted that the file located in moodledata/cache/rsscache had a timestamp dated when I created the feed, and had never been updated. What does seem to work is deleting the cache file by hand. The cron job is running and it *seems* like the RSS portion is ok, but maybe not. Other ideas on why the RSS feeds are not being updated? It runs once an hour (on the half hour, just to save congestion.)You are correct - the cron job doesn't touch incoming RSS feeds at all. All I did was add this to root's crontab:30 * * * * rm $moodledata/cache/rsscache/*where $moodledata is the complete path to where moodle's data directory lives.
